About Us

Hi, I’m Emma—a wife, homeschooling mom of five, homesteader, homeopathic practitioner, and student midwife passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My husband, Tyler, is a Lieutenant with the City of Owensboro Fire Department, and together we’ve built a life centered around faith, family, natural living, and serving our community. Between homeschooling our children, caring for our animals, and becoming a full time student- again, life is beautifully full.

My passion has always centered around family, natural living, and supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. In 2018, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Studies with a concentration in Family Studies. From there, my journey continued into a Masters Degree in Homeopathic Studies, where I found an unwavering calling to birth work.

Since then, I’ve been honored to support women and families through pregnancy and postpartum as a placenta specialist, childbirth educator, birth and postpartum doula. I am now continuing that journey as a Student Midwife, training to become a CPM and serve women in out-of-hospital midwifery care.

I believe every family deserves compassionate, individualized support and informed care throughout their journey into parenthood, and it’s truly an honor to walk alongside families during such a meaningful and fragile season of life.

I’m Anne, a proud mother of six wonderful grown children (including my amazing daughter, Emma <3), and a grandmother to thirteen! I feel so blessed to be part of such a large, loving family, and I’m excited to share a little bit about my journey with you.

For the past 22 years, I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist, and for the last 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Birth Doula, supporting families as they bring new life into the world. My heart for teaching has always been a big part of who I am, and although I left my teaching career as a middle school educator many years ago, my passion for guiding others has only grown. Now, I focus on empowering expecting moms and dads (and other grandmas, too!) with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I've made quality continuing education a priority and have completed training for Childbirth Education with Lamaze.  As of 2026 I am a Body Ready Method Pro and Certified infant massage coach.  For more information on those go to the Frequently Asked Questions under the "More" tab.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outside—whether in a garden, hanging out in a barn (it doesn’t always have to be mine!), or enjoying precious time with my children and grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I consider it a privilege to help guide others as they embark on their own journeys of parenthood.
